#2 Thunder Rosa challenges Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary

Deonna Purrazzo's opponent for her IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship match at Slammiversary was one of the most intriguing aspects of the show. There were countless names thrown in the hat.

Thunder Rosa wasn't one of the expected ones, and when her music hit the arena, the crowd was stunned. Rosa is one of the best female wrestlers across any promotion and was a legitimate threat to The Virtuosa's reign as champion.

The two put on an absolute clinic which saw Purrazzo barely secure the win against the former NWA Women's Champion. The appearance was unexpected and the match that followed was stellar, making Thunder Rosa's debut one of the biggest highlights of Slammiversary.

#1 Jay White at Slammiversary

Following a hellacious main event between Kenny Omega and Sami Callihan, one of the top stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling, the Bullet Club leader Jay White showed up at Slammiversary.

He circled the ring staring down Omega, with whom he shares a storied rivalry. Switchblade teased a reunion with The Super Elite before FinJuice appeared to make their way to the ring. As mentioned before, the feed went off at this time, and we were not able to see what happened.

Jay White's debut was the kind of surprise Slammiversary is known for. The main event revisited a storied rivalry and set up the foundations of what could potentially be a faction vs faction war as The Super Elite and Bullet Club cross paths again.

IMPACT Wrestling saved their best for last indeed.
