IMPACT Wrestling Results (April 8th, 2021): Huge six-man tag match hypes Rebellion main event, Swann looking strong

Don Callis brought out AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in his IMPACT Wrestling debut with an elaborate introduction, claiming that Flair, Hogan, and others were insects compared to the God of Pro Wrestling. The match kicked off with Omega and The Good Brothers jumping the babyfaces at the bell.

Omega missed a dive on Swann and hit The Good Brothers instead. Eddie Edwards used this miscommunication to hit a dive on all three men as we went into a commercial break.

Back from the break, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers gained control of this encounter isolating Eddie Edwards from his partners. Edwards fought out of the corner of the heels and tagged in Willie Mack, who came in like a house of fire. He hit a pair of Samoan Drops on Gallows and Omega, which Willie followed up with a standing moonsault.

Gallows regained the advantage in this six-man tag team main event by grounding Willie Mack. With the former Bullet Club in control, we went into our final commercial break.

Back to the action on IMPACT Wrestling, The Super Elite continued their advantage and worked over Willie Mack. Omega came in and was cockily beating down Mack, but Willie used his weight advantage to get on top and tag in Rich Swann. Rich came in and looked to attack Omega and the Good Brothers.

Edwards tagged in and went at it with Omega. Kenny hit a fisherman neckbreaker for a nearfall. Omega went for the V Trigger, but Eddie reversed into a German Suplex. This brought in all six men trading moves. Omega, Gallows and Anderson hit a three-man splash on Edwards, but Swann broke the pin with a splash off the top rope.

Swann tagged back in and went toe-to-toe with Omega. Rich slipped out of the One Winged Angel proving that he could escape Omega's finisher. He followed with a second-rope 450 splash, but Don Callis pulled Swann off the pin, proving where his loyalties lay on IMPACT Wrestling.

Karl Anderson tagged in for Kenny Omega, but Rich Swann and Eddie Edwards double-teamed Anderson. Edwards hit the Boston Knee Party and Swann followed with a Phoenix Splash for the pinfall.

Results: Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards & Willie Mack defeated Kenny Omega, Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
