A team in TNA has quite a lot of similarities to a younger version of the Hardy Boyz, according to Matt Hardy. The veteran star recently heaped praise on The Rascalz, while talking about their upcoming match.
The Rascalz, comprising Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz, have been wildly popular in TNA lately. Their wrestling style resembles the Hardys, as they also employ a variety of explosive moves in their in-ring style coupled with some fast-paced high-flying action. Matt Hardy has also noticed the similarity and commented on it.
Speaking to Kevin Kellam for Sportskeeda in an exclusive interview, TNA star Matt Hardy stated:
"Just last week on Impact we acknowledged that. Those guys remind us a lot of younger us in many many ways. They are young, they are talented, they are handsome, good looking guys. You know they are fearless, they're extreme. So they really are in many ways a modern day version of the original Hardy Boyz." [2:05 onwards]

Matt Hardy says The Rascalz helped them come to TNA
According to Matt Hardy, The Rascalz were fans of the Hardy Boyz since their childhood.
Speaking in the same interview with Sportskeeda, the TNA star stated:
"It's gonna be exciting because I know those guys grew up as massive Hardy Boyz fans. I mean they tell us about that so much. They'd do Swantons, leg-drops off their beds, off their couch or whatever. 'We wanted the Hardy Boyz to show. We just wanted to hang out with the Hardy Boyz one time.' Well they finally said our name and like Joe Hendry, we appeared. " [2:28 onwards]
The Rascalz and the Hardy Boyz are slated to go up against each other at the Genesis pay-per-view, with the World Tag Team Titles on the line. It remains to be seen how the match will pan out.
