Impact Wrestling added a lot of new signings and returning talent in the lead up and aftermath to their Slammiversary event this year. These additions had to put into question how things have changed behind the scenes in the promotion. One of those new signings was Tasha Steelz to the Knockouts Division.
Tasha Steelz recently spoke with Michael Morales Torres from Lucha Libre Online in regards to the backstage ambience in Impact Wrestling. Steelz had this to say:
“I mean, you hit the nail on the head, and you know, it's been like one big family (in Impact Wrestling), and like every family, we laugh, we cry, we joke, we butt heads, that's basically what family does. You know, we're all hungry. We all have a hustle. We all are in this race together. We all teach each other and push each other 10 times harder. Being in The Knockouts Division, we’re a group of women, we're not the largest group of women, but we're, to me, the strongest, and we don't need to have a hundred of us on here to show how much we are the best in the world. And I mean people been saying we're the best in the world. We've been proven in each and every single week. So it's just each one of us. We know what we want, what we want to do, what we came for and we push each other 10 times harder, you know, like I said, we butt heads, but at the same time, at the end of the day, we are proud of each other. I'm proud to be a part of Knockouts Division because these are a group of strong, hungry, individual women and definitely led by a Gail Kim and and Madison Rayne and Rosemary and Taya, you know, all these veterans are just helping the women just push other ten times more and learn from each other. I'm very excited to be a part of this division."
