Things IMPACT Wrestling should do at Slammiversary

#2 Deonna Purrazzo must retain the Knockouts Championship

At this point, Deonna Purrazzo's opponent at IMPACT Slammiversary is a mystery and fans alike. The company has teased names from Chelsea Green to Mickie James and even the IIconics.

It could be AEW Champion Britt Baker, or it even could be Becky Lynch (it's not). No matter who it is, Purrazzo should not lose the Knockouts Championship. IMPACT have already lost their world title and tag team championships to outsiders this year.

And though the tag titles were won back by the company recently, it hindered the tag division from having the top team around for about a month. Kenny Omega also appears in backstage segments often, which seems like the IMPACT World Champion isn't a part of the show.

IMPACT certainly can't afford to lose the Knockouts Championship when it's currently around the waist of one of the greatest women's wrestlers on the planet.

As great as the boost Kenny Omega has brought IMPACT Wrestling, it's time to shift the title to a contracted IMPACT wrestler. The top two choices for fans of the company have been Moose and Sami Callihan.

With Moose losing at Against All Odds, Sami Callihan is the last one in IMPACT that seems like a genuine threat to Omega. With the match being No Disqualification, it also plays into Callihan's hands.

The Callihan Death Machine is a maestro of the extreme, and will surely have a plan for Omega's back up: The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers have interfered on Omega's behalf during the AEW and IMPACT World Titles.

Callihan's former ally Eddie Edwards and mutual enemy of the champion Moose are busy that night, so who could he call on? We'll see, but hopefully, at the end of the night, an IMPACT star is holding the gold above his head.
