The Sub-Junior State Football Championship organised by Haryana Football Association and supported by Conscient Football started-off today at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon.
The four-day tournament will see participation from 21 district teams from across Haryana in the Under-16 category. Out of these teams, the Haryana state under-16 team will be chosen to represent Haryana at the national level.
Extending her support to the Haryana Football Association for the Sub-Junior Football Championship, Anupama Jain, Director – Conscient Football said, “We are committed to nurture potential football superstars of tomorrow by providing them with a platform and an opportunity to develop their inherent talent. We believe that Indian football has huge potential and by supporting Haryana Football Association for this tournament, we are tapping young football talent to train them according to International football standards.”
Sunil Bhardwaj, General Secretary of the Haryana Football Association, said, “Tournaments of this stature provide footballers with an opportunity to showcase their talent and to be a part of the Haryana Under-16 Football Team. We are working towards providing the right infrastructure and training facilities to the youth and support from Conscient Football is a boost to our plans.”
