AIFF Under-15 Kolkata Regional Academy play another friendly tomorrow

The AIFF’s Under-15 Kolkata Regional Academy based at the Pailan World School will play another friendly match tomorrow afternoon. The U-15 boys who are preparing for U-16 International Competitions would be taking on Uttarpara Academy at the Pailan Academy Ground.The boys of head coach Goutam Ghosh are on a four-match winning streak, including victories over the Under-19 outfits of I-League sides East Bengal and Prayag United.

These matches are a part of the preparatory process for all the AIFF Academy boys including the AIFF Regional Academy in Navi Mumbai and the AIFF Elite Academy in Goa.

Ahead of the Friendly, Goutam Ghosh pointed out, “Though winning is not the goal at this level, I look forward to the boys gaining more experience. The boys are high on confidence after the consecutive wins and that is reflecting in the training sessions. As we near the SAFF Championships, their attitude is more heartening.”

The India Under-16 National Team comprising of these boys will take part in the Under-16 SAFF Championships later this month and then in the AFC Under-16 Championship qualifiers later.
