In what hopefully will end the years of impasse, elections are set to be held for the Andhra Pradesh Football Association office-bearers on Sunday, October 6, 2013.
Nomination forms for the post of President (one post), Vice-Presidents (three posts), Secretary-cum-Treasurer (one post), Joint Secretary (three posts) and one Assistant Secretary would be available at the office of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association, Olympic Bhawan, Hyderabad from September 23 to 25 (11 am to 4 pm).
The last date for submitting the nomination forms is September 25, 2013. However, one can withdraw his/her nomination for any post by September 30, 2013.

A-three member Committee has been constituted by All India Football Federation to conduct elections for the Andhra Pradesh Football Association .
Ch. Ramesh (Dy. Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh); K. Ranga Rao (Vice-President of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association) and Gulab Rabbani (Member, AIFF Executive Committee member and Representative of AIFF) constitute the three member committee for the elections. Retired Justice Ch. Surya Rao of AP High Court will be the Returning officer for the elections.
