Atletico Madrid write condolatory letter to deceased Indian footballer Biaksangzuala

Indian footballer Peter Biaksangzuala suffered a tragic deathe after a somersault during a goal celebration went horribly wrong.

Atletico de Madrid express their condolences to Bethlehem Vengthlang FC player Peter Biaksangzuala who suffered a tragic death during a Mizoram Premier League match. Biaksangzuala damage his spine after attempting a somersault celebration following a goal in the 62nd minute against Chanmari FC. The letter says:

‘On behalf of the President Enrique Cerezo, the CEO Miguel Angel Gil, the Board of Directors and all the employees that belong to the organization, Club Atletico de Madrid S.A.D. would like to express its most sincere condolences to Bethlehem Vengthlang FC football player, Peter Biaksangzuala, for his tragic death.

‘The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the family and the loved of the player for such an irreparable loss.

As a tribute to the player, club Bethlehem Vengthlang have also decided to retire Peter‘s No.21 jersey
