BFC Inter-School Soccer Shield: Inventure Academy make knockouts in U-14 category

Inventure Academy won back-to-back games with big margins to seal a place in the knockout round in the Boys’ U14 category on the sixth day of the BOOST BFC Inter-School Soccer Shield 2019 at the Bangalore Football Stadium, on Sunday.

Having beaten Bishop Cotton Boys’ School on Saturday, Inventure Academy began proceedings on Sunday with a massive 8-0 win over Haralur’s Vibgyor High School thanks to braces from Chethan and Zabdiel.

Later in the day, they hammered Iqra International School 11-0 with Chethan bagging a treble as Aryan and Aditya got braces securing their third win in the group stage and a place in the quarterfinal.

Meanwhile Delhi Public School North secured a category-best 15-0 win over Royale Concorde International School after a five-goal haul by Kayshav. Arjun and Aryan bagged a hat-trick each in what was a completely one-sided affair.

St. Joseph’s Boys’ School rode on Neil’s hat-trick to down Soundarya Central School 10-0 in another high-scoring game of the day.
