Nepal’s Manang Marshyandgi Club (MMC) defeated ONGC Mumbai 2 – 1 to enter the quarter forinal of the prestigious 34th All India Governor’s Gold cup held at Sikkim, India.
After the regular playing time ended goalless, Nepal National team striker Anil Gurung scored goal in the 94th minute of the match. But ONGC Lal Puia scored in the 107th minute of the match to level the score. MMC’s Sujal Gurung scored in the 119th minute of the match to seal victory for the MMC.
MMC now will face Royal Wahingdoh FC, Shillong in the quarter final.
