Hindustan FC got the better of Lonestar Kashmir FC by a solitary goal in 2-1 win on Tuesday in the TRC Turf Ground in Srinagar today in the I-League 2nd Division.

Lonestar Kashmir started the game on a positive note with plenty of attacks from both the flanks with pacy wing play. The Kashmiri side kept creating chances only to be squandered away by the frontline.
Lonestar Kashmiri finally were rewarded for their constant pressing as they drew first blood through Aaki Javaid in the 16th minute.
The pattern of play continued until halftime as Lonestar Kashmir looked the dominant side and led 1-0 at the break.
Hindustan FC looked a different team altogether in the second period of 45 minutes and were looking much more stable in their approach to play.
The Delhi based side continued possession based patient football looking for an opening.
The Lonestar Kashmir defence finally gave way in the 71st minute as Thomyo Shimray restored parity for Hindustan FC.
Hindustan FC went into the lead eight minutes later through Kushant Chauhan.
Lonestar Kashmir committed half of their team up front to get back on level terms in the final minutes of the game, but the Hindustan side defended deep in their half and scraped through to register a 2-1 win.
Lonestar Kashmir FC will next face Delhi United in the same venue on April 22 while Hindustan FC will face another Kashmiri side, Real Kashmir FC on April 21 in Srinagar as well.
