I-League: Champions Churchill Brothers set to play three new foreigners against Sporting Goa

Defending I-League champions Churchill Brothers SC are struggling in this season and currently they are bottom of the league with only four points from nine played matches.

Tomorrow they face Sporting Clube de Goa in a Goan I-League derby at the Duler ground in Mapusa and in the game the Red Machines will be playing for the first time with their three new foreigners in Syrian defender Naser Al Sebai, Egyptian midfielder Abdel Hamid Shabana and striker Yasser Shahen.

Before signing the new players, the club released Syrian striker Amad Ahmad Al Kaddour, then Nigerian defender Hameed Adesope and then finally Gabonese striker Henry Arnaud Antchouet Rebienot all for non-performance.

Further technical director Subhas Bhowmick will miss midfielder Micky Fernandes in the match due to a suspension after he picked-up his fourth yellow card in their last match against Mohammedan Sporting Club.

The match will kick-off at 3.30pm and will be shown live on TenAction!
