The AIFF has named the 23-member Indian Under-16 National Squad for the AFC Under-16 Championship qualifiers to be held in Kuwait from September 21 onwards.
The India U-16 boys, who have been crowned SAFF Under-16 champions recently, will be leaving for Kuwait City today, September 19.
In the AFC Under-16 Championship qualifiers from September 21 to 29, India would be facing the hosts Kuwait, Tajikistan, Lebanon and Bhutan. All matches would be played at the Ali Sabah Al-Salem stadium in Kuwait City.
The India Under-16 boys are being coached by Goutam Ghosh.
