Delhi Dynamos
Toni Doblas: 6/10
Doblas made a couple of routine saves in the first half, but could have done better with Dudu's goal. Was a mere spectator in the second half as Delhi managed the game beautifully.
Chinglensana Singh: 6/10
Went under the radar, but a steady performance from Sana. He nullified the threat that Jayesh posed, although he didn't get forward too much.
Ruben Rocha: 7.5/10
The big man at the heart of Delhi's defense had a very good game. He bullied Jeje and won most aerial duels against Dudu. A very good start to his ISL career.
Anas Edathodika: 7/10
Like Rocha, Anas too was very good. He seemed to carry on from where he left off in the last ISL season. Unfortunately, a groin injury cut his stay on the pitch short. Gianluca Zambrotta will be hoping the injury isn't too serious.
Souvik Chakraborty: 7/10
In an unnatural position, Souvik did a very good job. He was helped by Baljit's lack of quality on the ball, and Wadoo not being allowed to push forward.
Marcos Tebar: 7.5/10
Sitting in front of the back four, Tebar had a very good game. He ensured that he picked up the space that either Jeje or Dudu dropped into, and also cut out the space for Mulder and Raphael to move into.
Memo: 6.5/10
Another one who went under the radar, Memo worked hard and hassled Chennaiyin into making mistakes.
Milan Singh: 7/10
The Indian worked tirelessly, but his decision-making was off at times. Milan had a tidy game.
Marcelinho: 8.5/10
A flawless penalty and a sublime finish was enough for Marcelinho to be the Man of the Match. He was invisible before his penalty kick, but once Delhi took the lead, his balance between going forward and tracking back was spot on.
Kean Lewis: 8/10
He was touted to have a bright futire by people in Indian football and Lewis showed why. His pace and trickery ensured that Wadoo had a torturous evening. Lewis needs to keep his composure in front of goal, though.
Richard Gadze: 6.5/10
He didn't get involved as much as he'd have liked, but he did the dirty work and never gave Riise or Mendy a moment's peace. Was subbed off in the 72nd minute.
Substitutes
Lalchhawnkima: 6/10
He came on for Anas in the second half and played his part in seeing the game through.
Badara Badji: 7/10
Had a couple of sniffs that Mendy took care of, but once he got his big chance, it was a very good header which gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Florent Malouda: N/A
Not enough time to make an impression, but he did help Delhi in the end by keeping the ball and making Chennaiyin chase.
