The former Neroca center back has been a revelation this season and has wowed many by his performance this season. He has at times single-handedly held the fort for Goa, and his impeccable technique and calm and composed nature has earned him plaudits from the highest echelons of Indian football.
He has played in 16 games for FC Goa this season and has looked to be in better form than the team's foreign defenders. His clean ball winning tackles, and his quality to jockey opponents and not lunge into a tackle is a breath of fresh air for Indian defenders. He has a high number of clearances and blocks credited to his name and has also been one of the most disciplined defenders in the ISL this season.
