Chennaiyin FC
Karanjit Singh (6/10) - The Chennaiyin FC keeper had a comfortable first half as he kept out a couple of Goa attacks. He conceded an unlucky goal after a save from Coro's effort but Lanzarote pounced on the rebound.
Inigo Calderon (6.5/10) - The former Brighton and Hove Albion man made a lot of runs on the right flank and made good overlapping runs. He provided good support to the attackers and was stable in defence as well.
Mailson Alves (6.5/10) - The Brazilian defender was his usual no-nonsense in the Chennai defence as he did not allow the Goan attackers to get comfortable inside the box. He made crucial interceptions at the back and made solid clearances.
Henrique Sereno (6.5/10) - The Chennai captain was a strong presence in the defence as he marshaled the backline against the formidable FC Goa attack. He was an option during setpieces for the away side.
Jerry Lalrinzuala (6.5/10) - The young left-back was booked in the first half as he was very active up and down the flank. He put in good crosses into the box for the Chennai attackers making a lot of overlapping runs.
Bikramjit Singh (6/10) - The midfielder played behind the attacking midfielder as he moved around the middle of the park putting in tackles for the away side. He was substituted at the hour mark when Anirudh Thapa came on to replace him.
Dhanpal Ganesh (6.5/10) - The defensive midfielder played the first line of defence for the Chennai side as he used his physicality well to break up plays in the centre. He was strong in the air and an option during setpiece situations as well.
Gregory Nelson (6/10) - The Dutchman was a threat in the attack on the left wing and had good chances on the goal threatening Kattimani. He used his pace and movement well to trouble the Goan defence
Raphael Augusto (6.5/10) - The creative influence in the Chennaiyin midfield, Augusto controlled the tempo of the play from the centre. He moved the ball well across the park and kept looking for runs of the attackers ahead of him.
Francis Fernandes (6/10) - The Goan winger was a lively presence on the right side of the Chennaiyin attack. He combined well with Inigo Calderon making good runs into the box.
Jeje Lalepkhlua (5.5/10) - The Mizo Sniper was the major target man for Chennaiyin FC up ahead in the attack as he moved well around the box. Jeje had a good shot at the start of the second half and kept making good runs as well.
Substitutes
Anirudh Thapa (6.5/10) - The young Indian international came on at the hour mark in the first change of the night as Gregory tinkered with the Chennai midfield. He scored within ten minutes of coming on as he beat the Goan defence with a great effort from inside the box.
Mohd. Rafi (4.5/10) - The striker came on to replace Jeje Lalpekhlua for the final twenty minutes of the match as the Chennai coach made changes to the attacking force.
Jaime Gavilan (3/10) - The midfielder came on to replace Raphael Augusto for the final five minutes of the match.
