Team of the Week - Friends FC

Team Friends FC powered by Froogal performed more like a family this week as they managed to grab 12 points. Sitting on 5th last week, Friends FC outclassed top teams like The Allegiance and Invincibles FC to reach the top. Despite losing a game, they found the back of the net on 19 occasions helping them take the lead.

For those following the Honda HFL closely, they would tell you that the league has arrived at such a stage where it has become unpredictable to predict who will come out on top. The 4^th week of the HFL witnessed some of the mid-table teams fighting it out to show they can be the dark horses.

Any of the top 8 teams are capable of being crowned the champions of Hyderabad.

Hexa United, The Allegiance, Invincibles, Deccan Sporting and Rossoneri all dropped points drawing the light for other teams to grab the opportunity. This is how the overall table stands after the third week of the Honda HFL.

Best manager of the week - Abrar Ibrahim

Abrar Ibrahim has proved that age is just a number

The Best manager of the week award was won by the senior most player in the league Abrar Ibrahim from Team Quicksilver. Abrar Ibrahim undertook a role for Team Quicksilver similar to Marco Materazzi for Chennaiyin FC, playing and managing simultaneously.

Hosting The Outlaws at Cyclone Football Turf in the derby last week, Abrar was the lone scorer in a match where both teams were at their defensive best. The team also got one over Deccan Sporting, the league favorites, in a 1-0 win.

Best Player of the week - Mazher Ali

Mazher Ali has been a rock at the back

The players at the back are getting more honours than the forwards as defender Mazher Ali from Friends FC wins the Best Player of the Week award. Possessing a strong and a dominant left foot, Mazher Ali emerged as the top full-backs in the Honda HFL.

Ali has impressed the team with his ability to chip in with goals and assists along with defensive contributions.
