The first Grassroots Centre under the ‘All Manipur Football Association Grassroots Programme’ started with a rousing reception from the football adulates of Imphal and Kakching in Manipur.In total 77 children have enrolled for the first programme in Imphal which is being administered by the State FA in cooperation with their district FAs.
All children are registered under the centralised system of the Grassroots Football Registration with all details of the children registered.

In Kakching, there are more number of kids who are participating in the programme and the program has received very positive response from the people. A large number of parents are also taking a keen interest in the Grassroots Programme which is a very positive sign.
Each Grassroots Programme will be conducted for three months after which the kids can enroll again or new participants will be given the opportunity to participate in the programme.
The All Manipur Football Association is confident that each district in the state will start a Grassroots centre in the coming months after the monsoon is over.
