After confirming their plans of starting an academy in Hosur, Italian giants Inter Milan are also looking to have an academy in Mumbai.
“We are in talks with Playon Skills, our exclusive partner in India, for one more academy to cater to such a huge country. This might come up in Mumbai in the future,” Marco Monti, technical director of Inter’s academy projects was quoted saying by TOI.
The three-time European champions currently have a team in Chennai to conduct a football clinic and one of their fitness coaches, Stefano Rapetti revealed that they will be visiting more Indian cities.
“We have already covered Bangalore, Kochi and Trivandrum. Mumbai will be interesting to see in the month of May,” Rapetti said.
