Mohun Bagan Super Giant secured their spot in consecutive ISL finals with a dramatic comeback victory over Odisha FC. Trailing 1-2 from the first leg, Mohun Bagan showcased their resilience as goals from Jason Cummings and super-sub Sahal Abdul Samad sealed a 3-2 aggregate win.
In the 22nd minute, Mohun Bagan found their breakthrough when Jason Cummings capitalized on a chance created by Dimitrios Petratos. Petratos' powerful long-range shot forced a save from Odisha FC's Amrinder Singh, but Cummings was quick to react, calmly slotting the rebound into the net.
Odisha FC also had moments of promise, with Roy Krishna leading their attacking efforts. Roy showcased his skill and determination in the final third with several attempts on goal, but unfortunately, his efforts were not capitalized upon by his teammates.
Despite their attacking intent, Mohun Bagan struggled to find the back of the net as the game progressed.
