The Sportskeeda team were recently invited to the Parikrama Champions league – a school football league held by the Parikrama Humanity Foundation sponsored by Menzies Aviation.
Considering the current plight of Indian football, it was interesting to see how India have been improving their grass-root football initiatives and how they trained school going kids.
At the event, some notable personalities like Charu Sharma and Syed Kirmani were seen, who shared their views on Parikrama’s initiative and the preparations going into building the future of Indian football.
Organisations like Parikrama Humanity Foundation are trying their best to prepare the foundations at the grass-root level so that they can train young footballers who can be the future of Indian football. The AIFF should then look to convert them into budding professional footballers who can represent India at the international level.
