The state of Uttarakhand hosted the 2025 National Games of India, commonly referred to as the 38th National Games of India and colloquially as the Uttarakhand 2025. In its 38th edition of the National Games, over 10000 athletes from 28 states, eight Union Territories, and the Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) will be contending for medals in 32 different sports in this multi-sport tournament organized by Indian Olympic Association.
With the tagline "Sankalp Se Shikhar Tak” (From Resolution to Zenith), the event is set to be held across 11 venues in Uttarakhand. The tournament is under it's way after commencement of the event on 28th January 2025. As of 3rd February, Service Sports Control Board leads the medal chart with 17 Gold and 33 medals overall, with Karnataka and Maharashtra tailing close behind respectively.
The 38th National Games 2025 are being held from January 28 to February 14. On January 26, the National Games will begin with triathlon events. It will be followed by Kho Kho and Basketball on 28th January. The National Games 2025's Athletics events will take place from February 8–12.
