The special tyres manufactured by Firestone provide grip and endurance on track for achieving the top speed on tracks during the race.

IndyCar is considered the best open-wheel racing series in America. It competes with Formula 1 for the title of the best racing series. The Indianapolis 500, the most popular race in the IndyCar series, is part of Motorsport Triple Crown. IndyCar racing is all about speed. The cars race on ovals which are made to clock in the best possible speeds. IndyCars are also specially designed with a simplistic aero setup to help them gain speed and minimise drag.
