Josef Newgarden has kickstarted his preparation for the upcoming season with promotional photoshoots. Newgarden and the other IndyCar drivers are enjoying the off-season with the 2025 IndyCar season starting in March. This week, the 33-year-old posted stories on his Instagram account from the promotional shoots.
The promotional shoot was for Race Service, an automotive culture hub and creative agency. Newgarden shared six stories on his Instagram. The first two shared Race Service’s Instagram stories. The first one showed a video of the Penske driver's IndyCar being unloaded from a trailer and the second one showed a video of it being pushed back into a garage.
Josef Newgarden also uploaded a clip from the photoshoot wearing the Penske race suit and race helmet, standing behind a translucent screen with a camera also in the frame. For the next set of pictures, the 33-year-old changed into a formal two-piece suit. Newgarden wore a classic navy suit with a white shirt and black shoes.

The next photos from the photo shoots showed a Shell gas station. Shell has been Penske’s partner for a long time and extended the partnership in 2022.
Newgarden uploaded a photo of himself at the station, leaning against a convertible red car with a model sitting on the car. The Race Service crew were also in the picture as they videotaped the driver. The caption read,
“Casual Monday night in LA”
The next story was taken at the Feugos restaurant in LA. Josef Newgarden posed in front of the restaurant’s bar as he sat on a high chair while having his pictures taken. The last picture uploaded by the Penske driver was of him smiling and eating at the Feugos restaurant.
However, the off-season hasn't been just about work for Newgarden as he celebrated Thanksgiving and Halloween with his family. He recently attended Ryan Blaney’s wedding in Aspen.

Team Penske's NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney and long-time girlfriend Gianna Tulio got married on the 12th of December in Aspen. The two got engaged last year and had been dating for four years. Josef Newgarden and his wife Ashley attended the wedding and uploaded the photos from Aspen on Instagram. The caption read,
“Aspen themes: Pizza, pictures, mountain, party. Oh, and cowboy! Congrats to Ryan and Gianna. Love celebrating you guys, anytime!”
The pictures included the couple enjoying pizza in Aspen, the view of the Colorado mountains, wholesome couple photos of Josef and Ashley from the wedding, and photos with the groom.
Scott McLaughlin and his wife Karly were tagged in the fourth picture. Dale Earnhardt Jr., Austin Cindric, and Bubba Wallace were some of the other guests who attended Ryan Blaney’s wedding.
