IndyCar driver Alex Palou uploaded a story on his Instagram account on January 11, 2025, in which he showcased his IndyCar championship trophies and humorous captions for his prized possessions. The Spaniard shared a picture of the three trophies in his car.

The Chip Ganassi Racing driver placed his IndyCar Championship trophies in the back of his car with each trophy getting its own seat. In human-esque fashion, Palou fastened the trophies with the help of the seatbelt so that they didn't move, or fall when the car got moving.

As he shared a picture of the trophies securely placed in the car, he wrote a hilarious caption while highlighting how much the silverware matters to him. The caption read:

Alex Palou is a three-time IndyCar champion and won the American open-wheel racing series in 2021, 2023, and most recently in 2024. With the off-season underway and the drivers having a lot more time on their hands, the Chip Ganassi driver decided to move into a new home.

Palou uploaded a post on his Instagram on January 9, 2025, sharing pictures of himself unloading boxes from a mini truck with the help of a crate trolley. The caption of the post read:

“POV: You are moving into your new home”

It seemed like Palou didn't want to leave the moving of his IndyCar trophies in the hands of a shipping company, and decided to transport them himself as he strapped the trophies in the back of his car.

“Cannot be an amazing IndyCar driver without”: Alex Palou on being winless at the Indy 500

Alex Palou, despite being a three-time IndyCar champion, believes he has more to achieve in the series. The 2024 IndyCar champion sat down with Motorsport in November 2024 after his triumph and suggested that he still needs to win the Indy 500.

“You cannot be an amazing IndyCar driver without winning the Indy 500, for sure. I would say winning it multiple times, it’s really tough just because it doesn’t depend only on you. But winning it one time with the team I have run has to be done. I don’t need to do it next year or the following one; I have a lot of years to do it.”

Palou has been racing in IndyCar for five years and came within meters of winning the Indy 500 in 2021 where he finished as the runner-up. He took the pole position at the 2023 Indy 500 but couldn't capitalize on it and finished P4.
