Arrow McLaren's newest signing for 2025, Christian Lundgaard, attended the UFC Fight Night in Tampa, Florida this weekend. It was an action-packed night headlined by the main card fight between Colby Covington and Joaquin Buckley.
IndyCar's official X account posted a photo of Lundgaard posing in the crowd followed by the to-be Arrow McLaren star and the crowd's reaction to Sean Woodson defeating Fernando Padilla by TKO (strikes) at 4:58 in Round 1 of a prelim match. The post was captioned:
"#UFCTampa with @lundgaardoff did not disappoint👊"
Ahead of matches, UFC also posted a video of Lundgaard endorsing UFC CEO Dana White's 16 days of giveaway, which included passes for the 109th running of the Indy 500 in 2025. The IndyCar star said:
"Hey guys, Christian here. I'm here in Tampa for the UFC. Don't forget to enter Dana White's 16 days of giveaways for the Indy 500 in 2025."
Joaquin Buckley won the main card fight with a third-round TKO of Colby Covington after the ringside doctor intervened to inspect a gash over his right eye. The welterweight winner extended his winning streak to six.
Lundgaard is not new to the UFC. The 23-year-old also attended the UFC 295 in November 2023 with fellow Indycar driver Christian Rasmussen, who drives for Ed Carpenter Racing. However, on this trip, he was with his girlfriend of six months.
