Felix Rosenqvist had a unique idea for the cherry on top of his successful 2024. On Tuesday, the Meyer Shank Racing star shared 20 polls on his Instagram story to deepen his bond with his fans.
In the first poll, Rosenqvist asked his fans to determine which of his fellow IndyCar drivers got the most intoxicated at his wedding.
"Time to wrap up the year with FRO's Get-To-Know-Your-Fans New Years Quiz! 🎉 " Felix Rosenqvist wrote.
Rosenqvist married his long-time girlfriend Emille Sutt on September 21, 2024, in Sweden, their native country, 10 months after getting engaged on November 8 in Zanzibar, Tanzania. For the first poll, he gave fans four driver options: His former Arrow McLaren teammate Pato O'Ward, Andretti Global's Marcus Ericsson, Chip Ganassi Racing's six-time champ Scott Dixon, and ex-IndyCar star Zach Veach.
O'Ward, an IndyCar fan favorite, took pole position with 57% of Felix Rosenqvist's followers voting for him, followed by Ericsson with 29% in second place. Dixon and Veach rounded the bottom two with 8% and 6% respectively.
In the 19 polls that followed, Rosenqvist quizzed his 65.7K Instagram followers about everything under the sun - from something as simple as 'favorite espresso drink' to making his fans decide who to fight given the choices of 'Man', 'Bear', and 'Manbearpig'. A couple of F1-related polls also made the cut.
Felix Rosenqvist and Emille Sutt's picture-perfect wedding
September 21 is a day Felix Rosenqvist and his wife Emille Sutt will never forget. The couple tied the knot at the Norrvikens Tradgardar garden in Bastad, Sweden. In her first Instagram post about their wedding ceremony, Emille wrote:
"From walking down the aisle with my dad, to having my sister and best friend right behind me, to saying I do to the love of my life and having our first kiss as husband and wife was the most emotional and beautiful moment of my entire life."
The wedding day began at 4 a.m. as the couple watched the sunrise. While the No. 60 driver then headed out with his friends for a swim in the ocean, Emille began prepping hair and make-up with her girls.
It was a dream wedding for the couple who got emotional upon seeing each other during the ceremony. The day of joy arrived a week after Rosenqvist concluded his 2024 IndyCar season with a contact-induced crash, finishing last at the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. He finished 12th in the standings with 306 points. For 2025, the No. 60 Honda driver has declared that the "underrated" MSR team will return as a "dangerous" one.
