Felix Rosenqvist's wife Emille uploaded pictures on her Instagram as the couple were smitten with each other's company and enjoyed the holiday vibes. The off-season is underway and Christmas is right around the corner. The IndyCar drivers with their wives and girlfriends are out and about. Meyer Shank Racing driver Rosenqvist and his wife decided to visit his native country.
Emille Rosenqvist uploaded four pictures on her Instagram on December 22, 2024. The first three pictures were clicked as Felix and his wife were lost in love. In the first slide, Emille had her hand rested on the MSR driver’s face as the couple romantically gazed into each other's eyes.
In the next slide, Felix wife held him by the collar of his coat as the couple kissed. The third picture had the couple smitten in love as they hugged each other. The last slide was a screengrab from a movie where the text read:
“What do you want for Christmas?”
“Just you.”
The caption to the post uploaded by Emille Rosenqvist read:
“It’s tiiiime🎄✨❤️”
Felix Rosenqvist dressed up in a Navy-colored long coat while her wife flaunted a black high-neck sweater layered with a black long coat. Emille tagged Sweden as the location in her post, which happens to be Rosenqvist's native country. The 33-year-old was born in Värnamo, Sweden.
Felix and Emille got engaged in November 2023 as the IndyCar driver proposed to his girlfriend on a beach. Months later on September 21, 2024, the couple got married in Sweden.
The Swedish driver began his Formula racing career in the late 2000s as he raced in the Asian and European Formula ladder series. He became the European F3 champion in 2015 and raced in the Le Mans, Touring car championships and Formula E for the next three years.
Felix Rosenqvist reflects on the 2024 season with MSR
The MSR driver finished 12th in the 2024 IndyCar Series Championship. His P3 result at the Thermal Club was the best of the season. Felix Rosenqvist qualified on the front row in the first three races and finished in the Top 5 in three of the first four races. However, as the season went on, his form dropped with one Top 10 finish in the last 11 races.
Looking back at the 2024 season, Rosenqvist said (via IndyCar):
“I think it was great. I’m really impressed by the team. It’s the most underrated team in INDYCAR. We’re probably the team that’s been rising the most from last year. We’re always going to take that even if we want more, especially given how the beginning of the season went.”
Looking ahead to the 2025 season with the team, he added:
“We know what we need to work on for next year, especially during the races where we struggled to string a weekend together. We'll be dangerous next year.”
Rosenqvist made the IndyCar move in 2019 and raced with Chip Ganassi Racing for a couple of years before making the Arrow McLaren move in 2021. After three years with the Papaya orange team, he was signed by Meyer Shank Racing for the 2024 season.
