As FOX Sports gets set to begin broadcasting the NTT IndyCar Series this year, motorsports insider Jeff Gluck is giving the network props for the promotional packages it has put together in the weeks leading up to its debut. FOX Sports will be the home for every IndyCar Series race in 2025 beginning with the season-opening race at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2.

Nathan Brown, an IndyCar Series reporter for Indy Star Sports, took to X to share one of many promotional videos done by FOX Sports that highlight various IndyCar Series stars. The one shared by Brown focused on Josef Newgarden and the insider said it would air during FOX Sports' broadcasts of the NFL Playoffs. Brown wrote:

"Here is the first of several promos @FOXSports shot this offseason with a trio of @IndyCar drivers. This @josefnewgarden piece will air this afternoon during the Fox’s NFL playoff broadcast:"

Gluck reposted Brown's video and praised FOX Sports for the video, adding that it's apparent the network is ready for its first season of broadcasting the IndyCar Series. Gluck said:

"This ad is further evidence Fox is really, really going all-out for its first year of IndyCar. This is a terrific attention-grabber and exposure."

The IndyCar Series parted ways with NBC Sports at the conclusion of the 2024 season. Now, FOX Sports will serve as the premier TV home for the series.

FOX Sports continues to broadcast NASCAR Cup Series races, a partnership that began back in 2001. The network will broadcast the first 12 events of the 2025 season, including the season-opening Daytona 500.

Amazon Prime to broadcast five NASCAR Cup Series events in 2025

While the NTT IndyCar Series partners up with FOX Sports for the entirety of its season, the NASCAR Cup Series has a new broadcasting home for a portion of its 2025 season. Amazon Prime has partnered with TNT Sports to broadcast a slate of Cup Series races this year.

Five races will be exclusively on Prime, beginning with the Coca Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in May and ending with The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono in June. TNT will broadcast five races after that, beginning with the June race at Atlanta and ending with the Brickyard 400 in July.

Prime's broadcast team will include Adam Alexander, who formally did play-by-play for NASCAR on FOX in the Xfinity Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Joining him will be retired NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was last a broadcaster for NBC Sports. Steve Letarte, retired crew chief, will be the third man in the booth, who was last a broadcaster for NBC Sports as well.

It's the first time NASCAR will be broadcasted on Prime. TNT Sports, meanwhile, returns after broadcasting the Cup Series from 2001-2014.
