IndyCar's official account posted on X on December 28, 2024, asking its followers to comment with their best pictures from the 2024 season. This started a thread of photos, amongst which a user uploaded a photo of Graham Rahal, Alex Palou, and James Hinchcliffe. The IndyCar analyst saw the picture and reacted by sharing it.
IndyCar's post read:
“Drop that one photo or video you got from an #INDYCAR race in 2024 👇📸🎥”.
The user uploaded the picture and shared it in the comments as the caption read:
“I just really like this one of @Hinchtown @GrahamRahal and @AlexPalou.”
The picture had James Hinchcliffe sitting with Alex Palou and Graham Rahal. The table that the trio sat at had the driver posters and markers for them to sign the posters. It was a candid picture with none of the drivers looking at the camera. Rahal and Hinchcliffe were busy looking at Palou’s mobile as the Spaniard was pointing at something on the screen.
Hinchcliffe shared the picture and wrote:
“The real question is what are we looking at?!”
Alex Palou is the 2024 IndyCar champion and Graham Rahal drives for the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team.
James Hinchcliffe is a former IndyCar driver who retired at the end of the 2021 season. The trio shared the track in the later years of Hinchcliffe's career. The Canadian currently works as an IndyCar analyst for NBC Sports and is present in the IndyCar paddock week in and week out.
