IndyCar star Colin Braun’s wife Melissa shares photos from pregnancy

Colin Braun and his wife Melissa welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in September 2023. The IndyCar and NASCAR star's wife recently posted a few unseen photos from her maternity shoot that took place last year.

Melissa shared an Instagram story on Monday outlining what the day ahead held for her. While using a face de-puffing massager on her cheeks, she said:

"I have a photoshoot with Lisa of Leemariephotography today. This is my third time shooting with her. She did my amazing maternity shoot. I'll just, for good time's sake, post a couple of those photos. But I thought it'd be fun for you to join along as I am depuffing my face and do a little bit of the behind-the-scenes of the day."

In the three stories that followed, Melissa shared photos from her 2023 maternity shoot which were taken in the third trimester of her pregnancy.

While Melissa's followers had seen the first two photos on her Instagram feed from Week 38 and Week 34 of her pregnancy respectively, the third photo was newly shared.

Colin Braun and his wife Melissa have been married for 11 years and welcomed their son Roczen on September 14, 2023, at 6:55 am. They made a collaboration post on Instagram to announce his arrival and captioned it:

"Today we welcomed our son, Roczen, into the world, and his timing was impeccable! 🙌🏼 Colin had an hour of skin-to-skin bonding at home before heading to Indy for his race this weekend. Even our personal life seems to be a race! 🏁 We are so in love and can’t wait to share more pics/ videos soon. 🩵"

Braun is a three-time WeatherTech Sportscar Champion, having won the title consecutively in 2014 and 2015, and a third in 2022. He also raced in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the Craftsman Truck Series between 2007 and 2011.

Colin Braun's heartwarming Mother's Day post for his mother, his wife Melissa, and mother-in-law

Colin Braun and Melissa have been doting parents of their son, Roczen. The mother of the 1-year-old has shared several personal milestones from her motherhood journey on Instagram. During this journey, Melissa also authored 'Magic Mama: An Energetic and Mindful Approach to Pregnancy and Motherhood,' which was published on November 14 this year.

Witnessing his wife's inspiring journey up close, Colin Braun dedicated a special Mother's Day post to her on May 12 this year. He also celebrated his mother and mother-in-law for their powerful presence in his life. The Texas native posted some photos of their family on Instagram, captioning it:

"Watching Mel become a mom to our son Roczen has been an unbelievable journey. Thank you for taking care of us through thick and thin, Mel! To my Mom and MIL Beth, Happy Mother’s Day to two incredible women who helped shape our little family. Your endless support is much appreciated 💐 Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I hope you enjoy your day!!"

His wife took to the comments section under the post to return the love. She wrote:

"Thanks babe! Love you and being a Mama to our sweet son!"

Melissa is also a Medical Reiki Master and provides her services via her own business, named Soulfullco. In 2025, Colin Braun will drive for Acura Meyer Shank Racing in the IMSA GTP, piloting the No. 60 car with Tom Blomqvist.
