Three-time W Series Champion Jamie Chadwick introduced the Jamie Chadwick Series in collaboration with Daytona Motorsport. The series is an all-female karting series that aims to increase female participation. Chadwick herself helped the participants by taking training sessions with the races being held across three tracks. Chadwick celebrated the success of her female karting series by sharing a story on her Instagram.

Jamie Chadwick shared @soapboxlondon’s story, a screenshot of Forbes’ article that celebrated and highlighted the success of female participation in karting because of her series. The headline of the shared article reads,

The @soapboxlondon story shared by Chadwick had herself tagged along with Forbes and Daytona Motorsport, along with the link to the original article. The series helped increase female participation in competitive karting by 1900%, casual karting participation by 400%, endurance racing entries by 700%, and girls trying karting for the first time increased by 200%.

As per the report, a total of 450 girls were introduced to karting via the Jamie Chadwick Series, making it the largest all-female karting initiative in the UK. Speaking about the success of the series, the IndyCar NXT driver said, (via Forbes)

“This year has been nothing short of incredible. The level of competition, the passion from the girls, and the incredible numbers we’ve seen—it's been more successful than I could have ever imagined. I’m proud to see so many girls not just racing, but thriving in an environment that supports them at every stage.”

Explaining why an all-female karting series was a crucial step, she added,

“There are so many barriers to entry in motorsport, and a lot of it is simply about access. If you want to play football, you can go down to your local club. But karting is a whole different challenge—financially, logistically, and culturally. The key to changing this is providing young girls with the opportunity to try it in the first place.”

Chadwick began her professional racing career in the European GT and open-wheel racing categories in the early 2010s. After her stint in the W series, she moved to the Indy NXT series to race with Andretti Motorsports.

“Something I’ve always wanted”: Jamie Chadwick on joining the Genesis Racing LMP2 program for 2025

Earlier in December 2024, Jamie Chadwick was announced as part of the Genesis Racing program. For the upcoming Le Mans season, Genesis has partnered with IDEC Sport, and Chadwick will be driving for them in the championship, including the 24 Hours of LeMans.

Speaking about the opportunity, she said, (via Forbes)

“Endurance racing is something I’ve always dreamed of, and to have the chance to race at Le Mans is incredible. Genesis Racing is an exciting program, and I’m really looking forward to joining them in 2025. It’s going to be a challenge, but I love endurance racing. It’s about strategy, teamwork, and pushing yourself to the limit, and I can’t wait to get started. Le Mans is such an iconic event, and to be a part of it is something I’ve always wanted.”

Chadwick will be joined by former F1 driver Logan Sargeant and Porsche Carrera Cup driver Mathys Jaubert.
