Marco Andretti’s girlfriend Billie Jo pulls back the curtain on a hilarious ‘shame’ in Grandma Sandy’s praise

IndyCar and NASCAR star Marco Andretti's family Christmas this year was extra special. It was his three-month-old daughter, Miura Micha Andretti's first time experiencing the festive season after her arrival on September 18. And what better way to spend the holidays than to get three generations together for a delightful time.

The third-gen driver's girlfriend, Billie Jo Powers, shared some beautiful photos on Instagram from the family's Christmas Eve celebrations. The festivities took place at the Nazareth home of Marco's mother, Sandra Andretti, who divorced his father Michael in the summer of 1996 after an 11-year marriage.

In one story, Billie shared a photo of Sandra lovingly holding her granddaughter Miura, who sat on a table stacked with presents in personalized 'Miura Micah' bags, a snowman, and Santa overlooking everything. Billie hailed Sandra's elaborate preparations and wrote:

"Grandma Sandy puts Santa to shame 😂🤍🥰 "

The photo Billie shared on her story was one of many she shared in an Instagram post that also included Miura, dressed in a white kids' onesie with "Santa's little Princess" printed on it, looking at her grandma in awe. She captioned the post:

"Christmas Eve at Grandma Sandy’s 🤍 ❄️ "

Marco Andretti's mother first met Miura in Nazareth, a week after her birth, and immediately took to Instagram to share the beautiful moments with her followers. Sandra captioned the post:

"Hello beautiful Miura, great meeting you today! Congratulations to you Marco and Billie and your new baby. She is as beautiful as we all dreamed of being! One week today and she is already feeling all the love from so many! @billiejopowers @sandraandretti @a_tall_cool_one"

Once a beautiful Christmas Eve at Sandra's place was concluded, the family headed to Mario Andretti's for a four-generation reunion.

Marco Andretti spent Christmas day at his grandfather Mario Andretti's place in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. He dressed in a white and gray t-shirt paired with black jeans to complement his girlfriend Billie's red turtleneck sweater and complete the Christmas look.

The couple dressed their daughter in a red frock that was adorned with a black ribbon and a red rose-shaped decoration on the bow. Marco's sister Marissa was also present. Miura was the center of attraction in the photos shared by Billie on Instagram that was captioned:

"♥️ Christmas Day at Bisnonno’s ♥️ "

For Marco and Billie, December has been all about Miura's experience of her first Christmas. For the 37-year-old driver, the holiday season comes as a much-needed break after a subpar 2024 racing season.

In his 19th attempt at the Indy 500 in May this year, the only race he continues to participate in in IndyCar, Marco Andretti crashed out in lap 114. His part-time participation in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Roper Racing yielded sub-25th-place finishes in five races. The ARCA Menards Series treated him slightly better as he finished 16th in the standings with four Top 10s in 11 races with Cook Racing Technologies.
