The Christmas spirit is reverberating across the globe and Josef Newgarden celebrated his picture-perfect holiday with his family. The two-time consecutive Indy 500 winner shared some snaps from Christmas day from his home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Newgarden dressed in a solid beige full-sleeved T-shirt paired with black pants and black shoes. His wife Ashley complemented his outfit with an all-black look, donning a mini dress, fishnet tights, and heeled boots. A gold watch on her left wrist completed the look. Their two-and-a-half-year-old son, Kota, which means eternal happiness in Japanese, wore a black Christmas-themed sweater, black tracks, and grey-black boots.
The No. 2 Team Penske Chevy driver expressed his gratitude for the time spent with his family in the post's caption.

2024 was a special year for Josef Newgarden. He won his second consecutive Indy 500 with a breathtaking final lap pass on Arrow McLaren's Pato O'Ward. Earlier this month, a second sterling steel sculpture of his face on the Borg-Warner Trophy was unveiled. The high of winning the 'Greatest Spectacle of Racing' still hasn't subsided for the IndyCar star.
Josef Newgarden acknowledges his ardent fan's special Christmas tribute with their family
Josef Newgarden's 2024 Christmas was enriched with a gesture by one of his fans. @erinmrundle on Instagram captured two moments from her family's Christmas, which turned out to be Newgarden-themed.
In one Instagram story, Erin posed with a signed photo of her with her favorite IndyCar driver, Newgarden, from when they had met. The framed and signed photo was a gift from her father-in-law to her. She wrote:
"Shoutout to my father-in-law for the extremely thoughtful gift today! Signed photo of @josefnewgarden and me!"
In the second, Erin gifted her two daughters the book "Josef's BIG Dream: An INDY 500 Story", co-created by the two-time IndyCar champ and his wife Ashley after his first Indy 500 win in 2023 and released in May this year, ahead of his second consecutive win at the 'Greatest Spectacle of Racing'.
Erin shared a video of her daughters' reaction to finding the book as one of their presents and wrote on her story:
