Awadh Ramdoots will cross swords with Sangam Challengers in the fifth match of the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League 2024 (UPKL 2024) at the Noida Indoor Stadium in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Friday, July 12.

Both sides are coming into this contest after registering victories in their respective first matches of the season. Awadh Ramdoots crushed Brij Stars by 43-26 in the team's season opener while Sangam Challengers bagged a 44-31 win over Ganga King of Mirzapur.

For Awardh Ramdoots, defender Ashu Singh looked exceptional in the first match, bagging six points alongside his colleague Alok Kumar with as many points. However, the star of the match was Abhishek Singh, the raider, with nine valuable points.

On the other hand, for Sangam Challengers, Abhijeet Malik turned out to be a hero as he accumulated 18 valuable points in the game, including 16 touchpoints. He will enter this contest as a hot captaincy favorite in UPKL 2024.
