Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan Match Prediction: Who will win today's Pro Kabaddi 2017 match?

In Match No. 71 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, the Bengaluru Bulls will lock horns against the Puneri Paltan at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat, Haryana.

Both the teams are coming off contrasting results from their previous match, while the Bengaluru Bulls succumbed to a defeat against the Haryana Steelers last night, Puneri Paltan had notched up a win against the Telugu Titans in Kolkata.

The Bengaluru Bulls were within striking distance for the most part of the match against the Steelers but lost the plot eventually with the defence committing major errors. Rohit Kumar was tackled time and again and thus could not contribute much to the scoreline. In his absence, it was Ajay who led the charge with 13 raid points.

Sunil Jaipal, the experienced campaigner yet again put forth an all-round performance picking up six touch points and three tackle points, ensuring that the side does not lose by a huge margin. The defence of the Bulls was the weak link and will have to buck up by a margin especially the likes of Kuldeep Singh and Mahender Singh who will have to avoid silly, advance attempts against the Pune attack.

Puneri Paltan, on the other hand, have a number of experienced players in their squad which gives them an edge over the young guns of the Bulls. Skipper Deepak Hooda spearheads the attack of the side in the capacity of the lead raider and the Bulls will have to be careful of his running hand touches.

Rajesh Mondal will play in the capacity of the do-or-die specialist while Rohit Kumar Chaudhary will also assist the attack. All-rounder Sandeep Narwal is a valuable addition to the starting seven given his ability to perform in the defence as well as the attack.

The defence will be manned by Dharmaraj Cheralathan in one corner and Girish Ernak who picked up a High-5 in the last match, in the other. To complete the line up the coach will have to choose two amongst the likes of Ravi Kumar, Monu and Bangladesh's Ziaur Rehman.

The advantage would definitely tilt in favour of the Puneri Paltan given the all-round performance they've showcased in their matches as against the Bengaluru Bulls who have majorly relied on their skipper, Rohit Kumar to lead the charge with his raids.

Thus, if Puneri Paltan can manage to keep him quiet and out of the equation, they will ease their way to a win in this fixture.
