In Match No. 52 of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Bengaluru Bulls will take the battle to the mat against the UP Yoddhas at the Dome, NSCI in Mumbai.
The last time when these two teams met in the Nagpur leg, the Yoddhas defeated the Bengaluru Bulls 27-32.
Post that in the home leg in Lucknow, the UP Yoddha lost 4 consecutive matches on the trot, settled for a tie against the Tamil Thalaivas and got the much-needed win in the last match against the Telugu Titans. The Bengaluru Bulls, on the other hand, are coming off a loss from their previous match against the Bengal Warriors which happened the day before yesterday.
Bengaluru Bulls rely heavily on their skipper Rohit Kumar to come good in the attack and fetch the majority of the points for the team while raiding. He is assisted by the likes of Ajay who specializes in do-or-die situations, Gurvinder Singh and all-rounder Ashish.
The defence of the Bulls took a major hit in the last match when Ravinder Pahal was shown the red card and is thus will be missing in action today owing to the suspension.
In such a scenario, the defence of the Bulls will rest upon the shoulders of young guns like Mahender Singh, Kuldeep Singh and the experienced Preetam Chhillar.
The UP Yoddhas will have taken heart from their victory in the last home match and will look to carry forth the momentum and clinch a big win in this match.
The attack will be spearheaded by frontline raiders in the likes of Nitin Tomar and Rishank Devadiga who should be given the freedom to play in their natural style and go rampant on the match by the coach, unlike the previous matches.
All-rounder Rajesh Narwal will have to buck up and perform up to his true standards which has not been the case so far. In the defence, the veteran Jeeva Kumar will be in charge of the proceeding alongside the young guns Sagar Krishna and Nitesh Kumar.
Bengaluru Bulls vs UP Yoddha match prediction
The advantage lies with UP Yoddha with their raiders having the perfect opportunity to showcase their supremacy against the depleted defensive hold of the Bulls.
The main strategy for the Norther force will be to relegate Rohit Kumar to the bench for the maximum amount of time and thus take him out of the equation of adding to the team's scoreline.
