After the mandatory Monday break in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, it will be the Bengaluru Bulls yet again taking to the mat against the UP Yoddha at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.
This match is the rescheduled fixture between the two sides which was not held during the Mumbai leg due to the sudden floods that had hit the city.
In the previous encounter, the day before yesterday, it was the Bengaluru Bulls who came out on top against UP but since the margin of the loss was less than 7 points, UP Yoddha sealed their berth for the Super-Playoff's taking one point away from the match while Bengaluru despite the win found themselves out of contention.
The Bengaluru Bulls put up a good show in the last match primarily due to the two exceptional performances by Rohit Kumar and Mahender Singh.
Rohit picked up yet another Super-10 with his rampant raids in the rival half while Mahender Singh picked up a stellar amount of ten tackle points. It was largely due to the formers' efforts that Bengaluru was able to relegate Rishank Devadiga to the bench for a large amount of time which ultimately added to their advantage.
However, other players in the likes of Ravinder Pahal, Kuldeep, Ajay, Ashish Kumar need to buck up tonight and contribute more to the scoreline in their last match of the season.
UP Yoddha, on the other hand, was clearly struggling when Rishank Devadiga was not leading the raiding charge while Nitin Tomar did not take to the mat yet again. Surender Singh did pick up a Super-10 but lacked support from the others in order to go the distance. Rajesh Narwal made his come back to the side and put up a decent show with 4 points but will have to amass more points in this match to make the cut to the starting seven during the playoffs.
Nitesh Kumar was valuable with his 4 tackle points but ultimately these were not enough since the other defenders in the likes of Jeeva Kumar, Sagar Krishna and Gurvinder Singh failed to succeed.
Bengaluru Bulls vs UP Yoddha match prediction
The prediction can be made in favour of the UP Yoddhas since they will play with a free mind given the fact that they have already qualified for the next stage.
However, the match could go down to the wire for Bengaluru Bulls will play like a side that has nothing to lose, only an aim to hamper the confidence of their rivals with by handing them yet another loss.
