In their last home match in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, Dabang Delhi will clash against the Telugu Titans at the Thyagraj Sports Complex as a part of the Inter-Zone Challenge Week.
The Dabangs suffered yet another loss last night against UP Yoddha, their fifth one in a row at home while the Telugu Titans notched up a win against the Jaipur Pink Panthers with a stellar performance from their skipper Rahul Chaudhari.
Dabang Delhi has struggled so far majorly in the season and will be eager to get a win in their penultimate home fixture to give some respite to their fans. Their raiding department was not up to the mark with Meraj Sheykh failing to fire alongside Abolfazal Maghsoudlou last night against UP Yoddha.
Rohit Baliyan did contribute to the scoreline but could not inspire the team with his individual performance. The defence had just one bright spark, yet again it was Satpal who inflicted quite a few vital tackles. If the Delhi team has to really put across a stiff challenge, they will need players in the likes of Bajirao Hodage, Sunil, Vishal and Anand Patil to buck up in a big manner.
The Telugu Titans, on the other hand, will be high on confidence especially after the spectacular raid fest from the skipper, Rahul Chaudhari last night wherein he picked up 17 points to his credit which included 5 bonus points.
Nilesh and Mohsen Maghsoudlou also contributed to the scoreline with 9 points between them. The defence was bolstered by the presence of the Indian duo of Vishal Bhardwaj who notched up a High-5 and Sombir who initiated four lethal tackles.
Rohit Rana was the weak link for the side with his wasteful tackle attempts which gave away easy points to the opposition. Farhad Milaghardan is also an experienced campaigner who will have to step up with his game and bring in more points on either shore of the mat.
Dabang Delhi vs Telugu Titans match prediction
The Telugu Titans have the upper hand in this match particularly given the kind of form that Rahul Chaudhari is in, it will be difficult for the unsettled Delhi defence to stop him in his tracks.
Moreover, the Delhi attack also lacks sheen and it will be easy for Vishal Bhardwaj and company to keep the opposition raiders at bay including the likes of Meraj Sheykh, Abolfazl Maghsoudlou and Rohit Baliyan.
