Haryana Steelers take on Bengal Warriors at Pune

Pune, 18 September 2019: The Haryana Steelers will be up against Bengal Warriors in Pro Kabaddi League season seven in Pune on Thursday, 19 September 2019. The Steelers will look to continue their excellent performance after defeating Tamil Thalaivas 43-35 in their previous match in Pune on Saturday, 14 September 2019. Haryana's defender Vikas Kale expressed that all the players in the team are confident about their game.

"The mood in the camp is really good right now. All the players are confident about their game. We have to keep winning every match and not look too far ahead. We will take one match at a time. Now, we are thinking about only Bengal Warriors, since they are our next opponent," said the defender.

Kale added that the Haryana Steelers will have the upper hand against Bengal Warriors, since the team has beaten Bengal earlier in the season.

"We are confident about performing well against Bengal Warriors, since we have beaten them earlier in the season. We will play even better this time. All the players complement each other very well in the team. Everyone tries to give their 100 percent when they step on the mat," said Kale.

The Haryana Steelers defeated Bengal Warriors in the last season as well and therefore they will be aiming to maintain their good record against the Warriors. However, the Steelers will have to be wary of Bengal's raider Maninder Singh and all-rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh. Kale expressed that Haryana's defense unit will have to be on point during the match against Bengal.

"All the players are good in Bengal Warriors. We will work out a strategy for each and every member in the team. They have good raiders and therefore we have to be on point as a defense unit during the match against Bengal," said Kale.
