Haryana Steelers vs Bengaluru Bulls Match Prediction: Who will win today's Pro Kabaddi 2017 match?

In Match No. 70 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, the Haryana Steelers will look to tame the Bengaluru Bulls at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat.

Both the teams are coming off contrasting results from their previous match, the Haryana Steelers having played out a draw against the Patna Pirates last night while the Bengaluru Bulls succumbed to a defeat at the hands of Dabang Delhi in the Kolkata leg.

The Haryana Steelers, in their match last night, put in an exceptional performance initially against the Patna Pirates and even led the encounter by a respectable margin of 22-12 at half time before allowing the defending times to stage a comeback and settle for a draw. With the young gun Vikas Khandola out due to injury, it was veteran Wazir Singh and Services man Surjeet who spearheaded the attack and amassed 12 and nine points respectively.

Prashant Rai played the supporting role with 6 points to his name, while the defence was as per expectations bolstered by the corner duo of Mohit Chiillar and Surender Nada. The lethal pair amasses 9 points in total and were also partially successful in keeping Pardeep Narwal off the mat, a feat they would look to replicate again today against Rohit Kumar of the Bulls.

The Bengaluru Bulls, on the other hand, are in the search for a win after a string of five losses. The Bulls will majorly rely on their skipper, Rohit Kumar to lead the way with his rampant raiding on the mat while Ajay will come into action in the do-or-die raids. Experienced all-rounder Sunil Jaipal came to the fore in the last match and played to perfection in the defence as well as the attack, adding balance to the side.

The defence of the Bulls in the absence of Ravinder Pahal lacks a guiding force as well and needs to buck up in a mighty way especially the likes of Mahender Singh and Kuldeep Singh. All-rounder Ashish will also have to play a larger role in the defence as compared to the raids, especially against the Haryana attack.
