Telugu Bulls who have been outperformed by all the major teams in the league finally were able to walk with their heads held high as they grabbed a narrow one point victory over Pondicherry Predators. In Match 2, Bangalore Rhinos maintained their good momentum defeating Mumbai Che Raje. Chennai Challengers on the other hand in Match 3 for the day defeated the struggling Haryana Heros by 5 points improving their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals.
