Bengaluru Bulls coach Randhir Sehrawat recently opened up on skipper Pardeep Narwal missing out on the team’s previous game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers. There were rumors on social media that the ‘Dubki King’ is likely to miss out for six to eight weeks due to an injury.
However, denying all the claims on social media, Randhir said Pardeep had no major injuries. Moreover, the coach confirmed that if the star raider does well in the practice sessions, he will be back for the clash against Dabang Delhi KC on Saturday, November 16.
"See, all the news about Pardeep on Social Media is wrong. Pardeep doesn't have a problem with his knees or ankles. He doesn't have a serious injury, otherwise, he wouldn't have taken 16 and 7 points. There is a problem with one of his nerves in this match and no serious injury. If he is fit and does good in practice, he will play the next match,” Randhir Sehrawat said in the post-match press conference (via Kabaddi Adda on Instagram).
On Tuesday, November 12, The Bengaluru Bulls suffered a crushing defeat against Jaipur Pink Panthers by 32-39 at the Noida Indoor Stadium in Noida.
Pardeep Narwal in PKL Season 11
It's been an uneven story for Pardeep Narwal in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League Season 11. The star raider has managed to accumulate only 37 raid points from seven matches. He has missed two of the team’s nine games so far in the season.
Pardeep's best performance in the season came against the Delhi-based franchise when he scored 16 points. However, he couldn't take his side to victory in that game as Dabang Delhi KC crushed the Bulls by 57-36.
The Bulls are currently 11th in the PKL 2024 standings with two wins and seven losses, accumulating 13 points. That said, the franchise would be relieved to witness their skipper Pardeep Narwal back on the mat and take the Bulls to a better spot on the points table.
This season, the Bulls have secured victories against Dabang Delhi KC by 34-33 and Tamil Thalaivas by 36-32.
