Pawan Sehrawat has been a stalwart in the Indian kabaddi circuit, having guided the Indian team to gold medals in the 2019 South Asian Games, 2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship and 2023 Asian Games.

He is third in the all-time list of most raid points in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) with 1,189 points. A champion with Bengaluru Bulls and a multiple-record holder, Sehrawat surely has been a true force.

The 2023 Arjuna Award recipient claimed headlines last year after becoming the highest-paid player in PKL history ahead of season 10. Pawan was sold for a whopping INR 2.605 Cr to Telugu Titans with the hopes of helping them come out of misery.

Although Sehrawat’s move to the Titans didn’t change the fortunes, as they ended up at the last spot, that bid would go down in the history books. Coming from a lower-middle-class family, it was an important moment for the Delhi-born raider who now fulfilled one of his many dreams.

The Indian skipper's focus now shifts to future challenges and goals. He has set his sights on the Kabaddi World Cup, scheduled to be held in the West Midlands, England in January 2025.
