Manjeet Chillar, the former Indian professional kabaddi player and the “Angry Young Man” of Pro Kabaddi, has been one of the top all-rounders of the league’s history. He is not a part of any of the 12 PKL teams’ coaching setup in PKL 11.
The 38-year-old has represented various PKL teams across his career span, including Bengaluru Bulls (2014, 2015), Puneri Paltan (2016, 2017), Jaipur Pink Panthers (2017), Tamil Thalaivas (2018, 2020), and Dabang Delhi (2021). However, Manjeet retired at the end of PKL 8 after winning the maiden title for Dabang Delhi.
Following his retirement, Manjeet transitioned from the mat to a guiding role off it. Recognized for his deep understanding of the game and tactical acumen, he soon became involved in coaching and mentoring young players. In Pro Kabaddi League Season 9, Manjeet took up the role of Assistant Coach for Telugu Titans.
However, the stalwart couldn’t prove his worth as the Titans finished at the bottom of the table with just two wins and 20 losses in 22 matches. Alex Pandian replaced Manjeet Chillar as the assistant coach of Telugu Titans in PKL 10.
