The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2021-22 season witnessed an electrifying finale as Dabang Delhi KC clinched their maiden title, defeating the Patna Pirates by a narrow margin of 37-36. The season was memorable not only for its intense competition but also for the emergence of remarkable young talent.

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi 2021
The title of top raider for PKL Season 8 went to Hi-Flyer Pawan Sehrawat, who was sensational in what turned out to be his final season with the Bengaluru Bulls. He amassed an incredible 304 raid points in 24 games, comfortably leading the chart.

Coming in second was Jaipur Pink Panthers’ Arjun Deshwal with 267 raid points in 22 matches. Close on his heels, Maninder Singh, also known as Super Mani, secured third place with 262 raid points in 22 games.
Naveen Kumar played a pivotal role in Dabang Delhi KC’s title-winning campaign, finishing fourth with 207 raid points from just 17 matches. He was a game-changer for his side throughout the season.
UP Yoddhas duo Surender Gill (189 points) and Pardeep Narwal (188 points) claimed the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.
The list continued with U Mumba’s Abhishek Singh (177 points) and Haryana Steelers’ Vikash Kandola (174 points), while Patna Pirates’ Sachin Tanwar stood out with 172 points in 23 games, helping his team finish as runners-up.
Rounding off the top 10 was Aslam Inamdar from Puneri Paltan, who contributed 169 raid points in 23 outings.
Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi 2021
Defenders also shone brightly in Season 8, with Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh making a stunning debut for Patna Pirates. The Iranian dynamo topped the tackle points chart with 89 tackle points in 24 matches, earning the orange sleeve and playing a key role in Patna’s run to the final.
Tamil Thalaivas’ right-corner defender Sagar Rathee followed with an impressive 82 tackle points in just 22 games.
The third position was taken by Bengaluru Bulls’ Saurabh Nandal, who accumulated 69 tackle points in 24 outings. Close behind, Jaideep Dahiya of Haryana Steelers managed 66 tackle points, while UP Yoddhas’ Sumit finished fifth with 62 tackle points.
Rinku Sharma of U Mumba and Sombir of Puneri Paltan shared the sixth position, each securing 60 tackle points. Meanwhile, Nitesh Kumar (57 tackle points), Parvesh Bhainswal (56 tackle points), and Surjeet Singh (53 tackle points) rounded off the top 10 defenders.
