Bengaluru Bulls head coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat reviewed his team's performance in Pro Kabaddi 2024. Randhir felt that some of his players did not meet the expectations, which is why the team finished last in the points table.

Randhir Singh Sehrawat has been associated with the Bengaluru Bulls since the inaugural PKL season. Under his coaching, the team won the trophy in Season 6 and finished runners-up in the second edition. However, in PKL 11, the team finished 12th with only two wins in 22 matches.

Speaking with Star Sports, coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat disclosed there were many injured players in the team, which had a direct impact on the performance. Here's what Randhir said:

"Yes, a lot (Did the players let you down?). Around nine players were injured. I did not tell at that time. Some players let me down. I'll take the names also - Jai Bhagwan, Ajinkya - I had high hopes from them. Jai had done so well in Nationals, but he could not perform well here."

The Bulls lost 19 matches in the tournament. They only earned 19 points, with their score difference being an embarrassing -227.

"I have seen many ups and downs, but this season was not good" - Bengaluru Bulls coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat

During the same interview, coach Randhir took full responsibility of his team's disappointing performance throughout the tournament. He also reminded that the team had qualified for the knockout stage six times under his guidance only.

"I have seen many ups and downs, but this season was not good. I accept it. It is my failure. In 11 seasons, my team has reached semifinal six times. They have finished first, finished second and secured third position four times. But this year we could not perform well, and I take responsibility for that," Randhir concluded.

It will be interesting to see if the Bengaluru Bulls retain Randhir Sehrawat as their head coach for the next season. The dates for PKL 2025 should be announced soon.
