The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022 saw Jaipur Pink Panthers defeat Puneri Paltan 33-29 in the final to clinch their second PKL title. It was a special victory for the Pink Panthers, who ended an eight-year wait since their inaugural triumph in 2014.
The season also highlighted the emergence of fresh talents alongside seasoned players who continued to perform at the highest level.

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi 2022
The raiding charts of PKL 2022 were dominated by young guns, with Jaipur Pink Panthers’ Arjun Deshwal leading the way. His 296 raid points in 24 matches not only earned him the Green Sleeve for the season's best raider but also played a pivotal role in Jaipur's title run.
Trailing closely was Bharat Hooda of Bengaluru Bulls, who carried his team’s raiding responsibilities with 279 raid points in 23 games. The ever-reliable Naveen Kumar, fondly called "Naveen Express," secured the third spot with 254 raid points in 23 matches for Dabang Delhi KC.
Tamil Thalaivas’ Narender Kandola impressed everyone with a stellar debut season, scoring 243 raid points in 23 matches. Bengal Warriors’ veteran Maninder Singh followed with 238 raid points in 21 outings.
UP Yoddhas’ Pardeep Narwal, the "Record Breaker," amassed 220 raid points in 22 matches. Gujarat Giants’ Parteek Dahiya, another promising youngster, scored 178 raid points in 19 games, while Patna Pirates’ Sachin Tanwar notched 176 raid points in 20 matches.
Rounding off the top 10 were Manjeet of Haryana Steelers with 149 raid points and Rohit Gulia of Patna Pirates, who managed 148 raid points in 20 games.
Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi 2022
The defenders’ list saw a remarkable dominance by left corners. Jaipur Pink Panthers’ Ankush stood out as the season’s top defender. His outstanding 89 tackle points in 24 matches earned him the Orange Sleeve and was instrumental in Jaipur’s title win.
Close behind was Patna Pirates’ Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, who dazzled with 84 tackle points in just 20 matches. Bengaluru Bulls’ Saurabh Nandal secured the third position with 72 tackle points in 24 games. Jaipur’s skipper Sunil Kumar contributed significantly to their success with 64 tackle points in 23 matches from the right cover position.
Another Bengaluru Bulls defender, Aman, impressed with 60 tackle points in 24 games, while U Mumba’s Rinku Sharma exceled as a right corner, tallying 59 tackle points in just 19 matches.
Dabang Delhi KC’s Vishal Lather also made a mark, finishing seventh with 58 tackle points in 22 games. The dominance of left corners continued, with Tamil Thalaivas’ Sahil Gulia (57 tackle points), Jaipur’s Sahul Kumar (56), and Puneri Paltan’s captain Fazel Atrachali (56) rounding out the top 10.
