It was an action-packed Pro Kabaddi League 2024 double-header day at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex today. Tabletoppers Haryana Steelers defeated three-time champions Patna Pirates by 42-36 in an intense match.
Before that, fans witnessed a lopsided battle between Tamil Thalaivas and Gujarat Giants. The Thalaivas crushed the Giants by 40-27 and completed a double over the Ahmedabad-based franchise in PKL 11.
Here's a quick look at the updated leaderboards for raiders and defenders in PKL 11 after the Haryana Steelers vs Patna Pirates match.
Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024
Patna Pirates' young raider Devank Dalal has become the first raider to complete 200 raid points in PKL 11. Devank scored a Super 10 for the Pirates, but his efforts went in vain as his team lost by six points. Nevertheless, Devank's superb performance helped him tighten his grip over the number one position on the Raiders' leaderboard.
Devank is at the top with 207 raid points. Ashu Malik, Arjun Deshwal, Ajit Ramesh Chouhan and Vijay Malik have retained their spots in the Top 5.
Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024
Patna Pirates' all-rounder Ankit Jaglan earned four tackle points against the Haryana Steelers, taking his tally to 51 tackle points from 16 matches. Thanks to his four points, Ankit has entered the Top 6 once again, and he holds the fourth position now.
Bengaluru Bulls' all-rounder Nitin Rawal continues to be the number one defender, but the gap between him and Haryana Steelers' Mohammadreza Shadloui is only two tackle points now. Shadloui scored a match-winning High 5 for the Steelers earlier tonight.
Tamil Thalaivas' captain Nitesh Kumar also had an opportunity to reduce the gap between himself and the top two defenders. However, Nitesh could score only one point against the Gujarat Giants, which kept his tally at 52 tackle points.
